The group of poets from “Norte Entero” and the City Museum “Casa de Hernández” will hold a new meeting of the “La Bitácora” Poetry Series today. It will be at 7 p.m. with free entry. The initiative began in 2022 with the proposal of presenting two local poets once a month accompanied by artists from different disciplines.

On this occasion, the fourth meeting will be held at the City Museum, Alvarado and La Florida with the participation of Alejandro Luna and Jacqueline Manoff, who will be performing poems.

The music will be performed by Víctor Conti who will delight those present with an outstanding repertoire. He is from the rock genre, singer-songwriter and producer, former guitarist and composer of the band Anguila Macabra. He then started his solo career.

It will be held at the City Museum, located at La Florida 97, at 7 p.m. with free admission.

“Norte Entero” is a group of poets that seeks to regionalize the poetic voices of the NOA, interweaving music and poetry. Fernanda Agüero, part of the collective of poets from Salta, extended the invitation to all residents to enjoy poetry and get to know the city’s writers.

Protagonists

Alejandro Luna. He was born in Salta in 1981. He is dedicated to teaching, he is in charge of introduction to literature, Anglo-Saxon literature and literature in the Portuguese language; and he works with young people with addiction problems at the Puentes institution. He published: The Uprising of Objects (poetry, 2009), Institutional Poems (poetry, 2010) and Book of Various Humiliations (stories, 2011).

Jacqueline Manoff (Salta). Lawyer and editor. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the National University of Córdoba. During this stage she guided her training in Human Rights and Integration Rights, undergoing an exchange stay at the University of the Republic, Uruguay, by obtaining a university scholarship within the framework of a study agreement for Mercosur. She later graduated in Gender Perspective and Applied Bioethics from the University of Champagnat, province of Mendoza. Likewise, during the years 2017 and 2018 she moved to Spain and entered the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) where she studied a Master’s degree in Book Publishing, with a gender perspective.

Since 2018, it has been developing in this area with Extástica Editorial, a project through which various activities linked to the promotion of readings, the field of human rights and the literary arts are promoted. As a member of the Asociación Civil Minga Colectivo Artístico Cultural (Salta, 2013), she is also dedicated to the local promotion of cultural rights and as a poet, she has shared her first publications through self-publishing, some of her works are: Exhalaciones, and Poesíademocracia, among other.
