The Attorney General’s Office of the State of San Luis Potosí (FGESLP) reports that Erick “N” was arrested by agents of the Investigative Police (PDI) in the El Montecillo neighborhood of the capital of Potosí, after there was a court order against him for the crime of attempted feminicide and family violence.
The arrest warrant was issued due to an incident that occurred on March 19, 2021. According to the complaint filed by the defendant’s mother before the prosecution, on that date she found her daughter-in-law beaten and when she confronted her son, he physically attacked her. and threatened her with a firearm, placing it on her neck and telling her that he would kill her.
The prosecutor’s office, through the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Attention of Women, Family and Sexual Crimes, began the corresponding investigation with which it obtained the arrest warrant from a judge.
In this way, the operational personnel of the PDI proceeded to search and capture the suspect in the aforementioned neighborhood, notifying him of the current mandate and reading him his rights.
In the next few hours, Erick “N” will be presented before the judicial authority that requested him to determine his legal situation.
