The price of the US dollar (USD) fell again in Cuba this Thursday, when the value of the freely convertible currency (MLC) that had been very stable for several days soared in the informal market.
The USD is quoted in the irregular currency exchange market in Cuba at 360 pesos. This data represents five CUP less than June 26.
The European currency maintained its stable value for the second consecutive day. This morning the euro is trading at 375 CUP in the Cuban informal market.
However, the MLC, which had been stable at 300 CUP for several weeks, showed a slight increase of five pesos on Thursday, meaning its price was 305 CUP on the morning of June 27.
