Palestinian ambassador in Mexico trusts Sheinbaum’s stance on conflict with Israel

Visiting in San Luis Potosi the Palestinian ambassador to Mexico, Mohamed Saadat He maintained that despite the Jewish ethnicity of the virtual president-elect Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo does not expect there to be a change in the position of the Government of Mexico regarding the conflict between Israel – Palestine and stated that at the time he will seek to meet with her.

Saadat added that he has known Sheinbaum for a long time, since she was Head of Government, and that she has always expressed an open stance and support for the recognition of the Palestinian state as the most viable solution for the resolution of the conflict, so he said that he sees no reason why she would change her position.

Regarding Sheinbaum’s Jewish origin, Saadat He said that this is not an issue, since the conflict between Israel-Palestine ceased to be a conflict ethnic-religious a long time ago and now it has more to do with the expansionist ambitions of a government, supported by a world power such as the United States that wishes to maintain a strategic ally in the Middle East region.

The Palestinian ambassador indicated that for now the best way to contribute to the solution of the conflict is to continue to influence the dissemination of the facts and revealing the lies of the Israeli government, which is why he has the task of visiting as many cities as possible in Mexico to make the local media aware of what is happening in Loop and West Bank.

He also stressed that the only solution to the conflict that has been going on for more than seven decades is Israel’s recognition of the Palestinian state, the coexistence of two states in the territory, as well as the sanction by the international community of those responsible for the genocide. what Israel has been committing against the Palestinian people.
