Commemorative Stamp 60th Anniversary of the National School Games (+ Photos)

Camagüey, June 27.- The Commemorative Stamp for the 60th Anniversary of the National School Games was awarded today, in an exceptional manner, to a group of emblematic figures of sport in Camagüey, who have contributed greatly to the results of our athletes both inside and outside of Cuba.

One of those honored was Bernardo Comas Aguilera, world boxing champion, who recalled glorious pages of the sport of fists, when he and two companions from Camagüey reached first place.

870fb33454.jpgFelipe Neris Sarduy glory of Cuban baseball spoke about the preparation of the new generations mainly in the category of children over 12 years of age, reasons that drive him to continue educating and training in the sport of balls and strikes.

5d1f7a7fdf.jpgThe emotional ceremony, which took place in El Mayor’s birthplace in this city, highlighted the work of 24 personalities from the sports world, who over the years have contributed to the development of an event considered among the most important in the Cuban competitive system.
