For his part, Santillán indicated that this is a new challenge where the Ministry of Health gave him the opportunity to serve the community from this new position: “I am in charge of more than 6,000 nurses in the province, so it is a great job. In addition, I want to emphasize that these professionals deserve the respect of the entire community, since they demonstrated their performance with Covid-19 and dengue.”

The professional seeks to be able to train staff, evaluate them and give them better tools so that their work provides a better quality of care to the community. “We in health know that all work is done as a team, no one does anything alone. That is why we start from that perspective,” he concluded.
