For his part, the bassist Alex Jamesdescribed the meaning of this last meeting: “We have barely communicated for the last 10 years. I mean, even when we really broke up, it didn’t take that long to make a record, but the wonderful thing is that as soon as ‘The four of us are in a room together, it’s exactly the same as when we were 19.’

Damon Albarn He also commented on the reunion: “I don’t think any of us thought we would make another album, especially an album like this. I guess because That’s what I wanted to try to do as best as possible.”

The leader added: “We all have very complicated lives and we are very lucky to be able to spend this time together, just the four of us. And that’s the beauty of it.” “The ’90s were a very intense time. On the same level as a relationship, or marriages and things like that. I think it’s okay to say that we dedicate the time apart to other friendships and simply recovering or doing other things,” said guitarist Graham Coxon.

Blur shared unreleased images from the “Parklife” video

Last week, the band that marked Britpop with Oasis, published unpublished images of the song’s video “Parklife”. A restored version of the original clip was also known. This third Blur studio work reached record stores after Modern Life Is Rubbish (1993), which did not sell well. parklife brought Blur back to the UK, thanks to their singles, and was certified four times platinum. The album would be one of those that would define the emerging Britpop scene, along with the album Definitely Maybe of their rivals Oasis.
