David Corenswet’s Man of Steel and Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane have their first DC Universe on-screen meeting in new photos from the set of superman. One of the most anticipated superhero movies of 2025 will be Gunn’s Superman movie, which marks the first film outing for the upcoming DC Universe franchise. The main photography of superman has been underway for the past few months and production will wrap in July.
With only a couple of weeks left in supermanmore glimpses of Gunn’s upcoming DC Universe release have surfaced online via various photos and video clips. After not being seen together during filming, Just Jared managed to get some of the first shots of Corenswet as Superman and Brosnahan as Lois together in what appears to be one of the massive action sequences currently being worked on. Photos from the set of supermanSo far, they are hiding what is causing this damage to Metropolis, but whatever is behind the destruction involves the military, as multiple soldiers are seen around Superman and Lois. With theories floating around that an alien invasion is happening in the DC Universe reboot, it’s possible that this could be happening during the final act of the story. Whether or not that’s actually the case remains to be seen, but it wouldn’t be surprising if this gives the audience a taste of the climax.
A popular theory that is also gaining more traction online concerns the mysterious ship that Lois can be seen leaving, as many have speculated that it is Mister Terrific’s T-Sphere ship. Since Mister Terrific has also been a big focus in other photos of Superman set in the same location, it wouldn’t be a surprise if several of the heroes announced for the film were crucial to these sequences. Depending on the size of the threat, given everything the set photos portend, it will likely bring together superman and several players at this point in the film.
More clues may be revealed in the coming days, especially if the crew will still be filming at this particular location for superman. This can also lead to other characters in superman get your first looks revealed, especially if the scene is really setting up for an epic battle with multiple characters.
