Training Ship “Simón Bolívar” from Venezuela on Santiago land

Santiago de Cuba, June 15 (ACN) The Training Ship “Simón Bolívar”, of the Navy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, arrived today in Santiago de Cuba, as part of the XXXIV Training Cruise Abroad in 2024.

Maneiro commented that coincidentally this year marks four decades since his class sailed on the Training Ship, on the then fourth training cruise; He described the present generation as “golden”, in moments of great importance for the Bolivarian Revolution.

The crew is made up of 36 subordinate officers, 38 professional sergeants, 25 sailors, and 77 navy cadets from the Venezuelan academy, he said.
