He was one of the best pilots in Formula 1 in the 90s and early 2000s and has just made a strong revelation of his intimacy. Coulthard said his elevated readings were attributed to high levels of adrenaline which he experienced during his high-octane career on the track. Furthermore, that the Doctors and his partner had given him a “glowing report” about his testosterone.
Coulthard, originally from Twynholm, Kirkcudbrightshire, was a Williams test driver and after Senna’s death on 1 May 1994 took his place from the next race. The Brit was known for dating a number of models during his days as an F1 driver. He separated from the Belgian television presenter Karen Minier in 2022 after nine years of marriage and is now dating Silversand.
Regarding his high level of sexual desire, he talked about his testosterone results on his podcast Formula For Successwhich he presents together with the businessman Eddie Jordan. When former F1 team owner Jordan asked what his girlfriend thought about her testosterone levels, he said: “I received an excellent report and also a medical report. I had my testosterone checked and apparently I’m in the top one percent of men”.
“One of the ideas is that due to the high levels of adrenaline through a sports career, that increases testosterone in the body. So no problems”he added.
David also confessed that a famous claim he made that having sex before a race made him drive faster was not true. And he added: “It was a little silly,” although he argued that “I don’t remember saying it, but it sounds like something I would say just because of the reaction.”
Coulthard, after being third in the championship of the Formula 3000 in 1993 (current Formula 2), debuted in F1 in 1994 and raced 246 Grand Prix, won 13, achieved 62 podiums, 12 pole positions (one of them in Argentina 1995) and 18 lap records. He was third in the 2000 season and second in 2001. In addition to Williamsran for the teams McLaren and Red Bull.
He retired from the Máxima in 2009 and after being a test pilot for three seasons in the DTM (German Tourism Championship), hung up his helmet permanently. He now lives in Monaco and works as a commentator on the television coverage of the official F1 channel.
