For quite some time now, Juan Felipe Cadavid left Win Sports to take on a new challenge at Caracol Radiowhere he hosts the program ‘El pulse del futbol’ with César Augusto Londoño.
Precisely, in an interview with As Colombia, the sports journalist recalled his career and spoke about incident he had with Julián Téllez, former soccer player from América de Cali, Millonarios, among otherswith whom he shared a set in the popular debate space ‘Large Kick’.

According to Cadavid, While at Win Sports, Téllez slapped him during a conversation about footballwhich caused both to distance themselves and end the friendship they had.
“Julián Téllez, who was a colleague of mine at Win Sports, slapped me in a moment of fever,” he said at first.
And he added: “This program was more real, with problems between us, and there were people in the group who took it very personally. Julián took things very personal. At one point, when we didn’t have to be talking about football, we did and he ended up hitting me“.
In fact, Cadavid said that he did not have an aggressive reaction at the moment, but rather, with a cool head, he gave priority to his image, his profession and his family.
“There I was cold, I didn’t start fighting and not out of fear, Surely he will finish me off with his fist, but I’m not one of those. There I understood that I had a responsibility with my profession, my person and my children.”
The journalist explained that surely a response on his part would have caused a fight; fact that would have caused his dismissal from the sports channel.
“If I go to war, they’ll take me out of Win and I need to work… The only thing I did was tell him that with me he wasn’t going to find the same answers. I only demanded that he never touch me again in my life,” she said.

Finally, in the aforementioned medium, Juan Felipe Cadavid commented that at Win Sports they took them to the psychologist to calm the situation and that he made it clear that although he accepted the apologies offered by Téllez, I was never going to share spaces outside of the workplace with the former soccer player again.
“Then they took us to the Win Sports psychologist. He offered excuses, I accepted them and was honest when I said that In the program I could treat him like everyone else, but I never had a coffee with him again and that’s how it is to this day“, he mentioned.
And he concluded, saying: “I have met him several times and in the end He is the one who ends up uncomfortable and leaves, not me.“.
