Beşiktaş introduced Giovanni van Bronckhorst as coach, led by president Hasan Arat and new CEO Brad Friedel.
The Dutch coach said that the first objective is to pass the Europa League play-off to enter the group stage and have success with Beşiktaş in Europe.
Bronchorst gave clues about his system he will use: “I grew up in Holland in the 4-3-3 system. The most important thing in the teams I coached was flexibility. Be tactically flexible, that’s what I did at Rangers. This will also happen in Beşiktaş.”
For his part, President Arat spoke about the transfer of Paulista. “None of our signings can be done without coordination. Paulista was one of the most important options our coach wanted.
