Edwin Cardona, new addition to Atlético Nacional, suffered an attack in the municipality of San Jerónimo, Antioquia. The footballer and his family were victims of an attempted robbery after he withdrew money from an ATM.
According to El Colombiano, the Antioquia Police revealed that some individuals on a motorcycle tried to open the player’s armored vehicle and fired a shot at one of the side windows.
Colonel Carlos Andrés Martínez Romero, commander of the Antioquia Police Department, pointed out that The creative flyer was with his family in a rural area of the municipality, where he was the victim of an attempted robbery.
“They block their vehicle and some guys on a motorcycle try to open the armored vehicle and shoot one of them through the side windows.”
