Raleigh.- Before leaving on a flight, a dog escaped at the Raleigh-Durham Airport (RDU).
“Moose”, the name of the boxer mix dog, fled on the morning of Wednesday, March 27 while maneuvers were being carried out to transport him.
According to Fox 8, the dog was flying to Seattle on the night of Tuesday the 26th with his owner, but missed his Alaska Airlines flight.
While they were preparing him for the long flight and giving him a walk, the dog escaped by breaking free from his leash, which was loose.
Happy ending
The authorities began the search for the dog, which they indicated was seen Wednesday afternoon on land next to the airport.
Because the owner did take the flight, one of his cousins went to the airport to follow up on the situation.
With a search operation, the dog was located and then reunited with his family on the morning of Thursday the 27th, CBS 17 reported.
The airline explained that after being located, “Moose” had breakfast courtesy of the canine team (K9).
Finally, airport authorities informed CBS that security and firefighters reunited the dog with its owner on the morning of Thursday, March 28.
