Telefnica appoint Carlos Ocaa as Government advisor at the operator

Carlos Ocaá Orbis will be appointed director of Telefónica representing the Government, replacing the independent director Carmen García de Andrés. Ocaa Orbis is currently a director of Real Madrid, which he joined in 2012. Previously he was general director of the cabinet of the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, Miguel Sebastin and is co-author, along with president Pedro Sánchez, of the book The new Spanish economic diplomacy, which includes a good part of the thesis of the current President of the Government. The Government thus appoints to the Telefónica board a person of the highest confidence of the President of the Executive.
