There are moments of shock in the province of San Juan, due to the brutal attack with sledgehammers suffered by an elderly woman in the Capital. The authorities have not yet managed to find the aggressor, but in the area there are two cameras that, due to their location, possibly captured the subject’s escape route.

While the victim, 71-year-old Hebe Yolanda Leguiza, fights for her life in the intensive care unit of the Rawson hospital, investigators try to arrest whoever left her in that condition. This is a man who would not be more than 30 years old, who was dressed in jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt along with a mask and gloves.

According to what can be seen in the footage that went viral, the aggressor fled in the direction of Caseros Street. In that sense, There are two cameras almost at the intersection with 25 de Mayo that, if they were operational around 7:30 p.m. last Tuesday, could have even captured the person responsible from the front.

At the moment it is unknown if the Public Prosecutor’s Office has already seized these possible images. They are placed in front of an establishment that does not have any type of signage indicating which category it belongs to.
