Work continues for the “Gold Star 2024 National Open Martial Arts Tournament”, in Salamanca, Guanajuato, the tournament that, due to its logistics and awards, has become the most representative of the Bajío area.
This event is organized by the Shinbudokan Karate Do organization, which is directed by Sensei Guillermo Pérez Martínez, and is scheduled to take place on October 12, 2024, at the Lazaro Cárdenas Gym in the Bellavista neighborhood of this Guanajuato city.
With more than a decade of being held, the “Gold Star National Open Martial Arts Tournament” has had the presence of competitors from most of the states of the Mexican Republic, as well as from abroad.
Likewise, it is part of the Competition Circuit of the International Society of Martial Artists (ISMA), as well as the Professional Circuit of Sport Karate Bajío, so its champions in certain categories have the opportunity to attend national and international events.
This work has meant that the “Gold Star Open National Martial Arts Tournament” has the support of sports authorities and the productive sector of Salamanca, as well as the business sector.
Regarding the competition modalities, there will be Kickboxing, Continuous Fighting and Points, as well as an exhibition of jiujitsu, breaking, traditional and contemporary, musical and creative forms, both barehanded and with implements, although it is expected that this year they will be included others for categories from children to masters.
