Halsey has privately fought to improve her health, as the singer revealed this Tuesday.
The artist shared the news on instagram in a series of videos that appear to document her receiving treatment in a hospital.
“Simply put, I’m lucky to be alive.”, he wrote in the caption. ““I wrote an album.”
His diagnosis was not immediately clear.

“I told myself I would give myself two more years to be sick. At 30, I’m going to have a rebirth and I’m not going to be sick and I’m going to look super sexy and have a lot of energy and I’m going to make my 20s again at 30.”.

Singer also released a new song on Tuesday, an acoustic guitar ballad titled “The End”.
Their new album on the horizon will arrive after their fourth studio album, the ambitious “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power” of 2021, produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails.

According to a press release, along with the release of “The End” Halsey will donate to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as well as Lupus Research Allianceleukemia and lymphoma organizations, and lupus research, respectively.
In 2022, he shared on Instagram that he had been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjögren syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome, known as MCAS, and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, known as POTS.
WHAT DISEASES DOES HALSEY HAVE?
While Halsey doesn’t say it directly, she mentioned in her post the accounts of Lupus Research Alliance, a non-profit association that funds lupus research, and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a leukemia research organization.
According to the National Cancer Institute, the leukemia is cancer in the tissues that form blood, while lupus “It is a chronic and complex autoimmune disease that can affect the joints, skin, brain, lungs, kidneys and blood vessels in a way that causes widespread inflammation and tissue damage in the affected organs,” as indicated Lupus Research Alliance.
