Faced with this situation, the legislator has decided to act in “defense of the interests of the province and its inhabitants.” “This appeal for protection will seek to guarantee that the fundamental rights of the people of Catamarca are respected and that this unjust measure that harms the community is reversed,” he said.

Likewise, he expressed that, “it is essential that the national authorities listen to and address the legitimate demands of the province of Catamarca.”

“I expected all this time for the provincial executive power to defend tooth and nail the interests of all the people of Catamarca, but apparently they are focused on other tasks, there are no excuses for not fighting for what belongs to us,” he reproached the provincial government.
