One of the two workers at the Varadero Oil Drilling and Extraction Company (EPEP) who inhaled toxic gases while they were fixing a gas leak underground, he died this Friday, as announced by the entity on social networks.
EPEP Varadero identified the victim as Renier García Gómez, who served as head of Collection Center 7whom he defined as a “young man dedicated to the oil cause.”
The official source did not offer other details about the circumstances of the worker’s death.
However, a few hours ago, a publication on social networks requested vials of Vitamin C for the now deceased young man.
