Who is your leader, Roberto Vaquero?
Its leader is Roberto Vaquero, (Madrid, 1986), who has presided over the party since June 2022 and, since October 2021, He is general secretary of the Marxist-Leninist Party. He began to gain media attention thanks to his role as a historian and writer and, in addition, collaborates with Zenda magazine.
Vaquero has also appeared on some occasions on Iker Jiménez’s ‘Horizonte’ program, has a political dissemination channel on YouTube and is member of the International Scientific Committee of the magazine ‘La Razón Historical’.
Cowboy studied Political Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid, and also graduated from UNED in Geography and History. He is now studying for a doctorate at the University of Valencia. He himself was one of the founders of the Frente Obrero in 2018, and four years later he was chosen as president.
But years before, in 2009, he co-founded the party Communist Reconstruction (CR), a temporarily illegal training. Several of its members, also Vaquero, were arrested and accused of having links to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), an organization considered terrorist by the EU. Vaquero was isolated in the Soto del Real prison for 49 days.
