European elections of 2024: projection of the new Parliament | News

The projection is based on:

  • provisional results in twenty-three Member States (in addition to Spain, these are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Finland, Germany, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal , Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden),
  • estimates and pre-election polls for the other four countries (France, Ireland, Italy and Poland).

The first estimates point to a participation in the EU as a whole of 51%.

The projection of the composition of Parliament is in accordance with the structure of the outgoing Parliament and its political groups, without prejudging the structure it will have in the constituent session.

All national parties not officially affiliated with a European political formation and that are not part of the “Not registered” in this legislature are classified for the moment in the “Other” group, regardless of their political orientation.

The projection will be updated with new data available from the Member States. You can consult the information available at any time on the official page on election results.

On this page you will find all the information on national results, seats by political group and country, details by national party and political group, as well as participation. The page includes a tool to compare results, calculate majorities and incorporate widgets for automatic publication of updates.
