Media Day 2024: A Pleasant Experience

In that space the boys answer our questions and create content that is used on our digital platforms throughout the season. In 2024 we try to find a balance of experiences, influences and perspectives. We ask them to say some phrases in Spanish and the majority show a willingness to do so, perhaps for some the language barrier is complicated and they ask us not to do it, but at least they try.

It is very interesting to see our starting center Hjalte Froholdt who is from Denmark and a few months ago accompanied us to Monterrey Nuevo León speaking Spanish and talking about Mexican culture. It is these experiences that allow this Media Day to be very special in every sense of the word.

Will Hernández is already a fundamental part of our image as a team. He identifies with us so much that other players when seeing our set tried to say to us: “Mijo Things,” a phrase that Will has created as a representation of his Mexican culture.

The good vibes of all the players when visiting our set was noticeable… Kyler Murray, for example, mentioned that he liked it a lot, as did Budda Baker, among others. It was a different concept that was well accepted by the protagonists who were true friends of us.
