Cristina Tárrega begins her second season at the helm of ‘Life without filters’

The arrival of ‘Life without filters’ on Saturday nights on Telecinco, last summer, was not the shock that Mediaset expected for its main network. Produced by Unicorn Content, Ana Rosa Quintana’s production company, the program, with Cristina Tárrega at the helm, was promoted as a space in which presenter faced different topics without a script nor prior knowledge and gave voice to dozens of testimonies, whether by videoconference or on the set.

The thing was not disastrous, but it did not work either, and he had to settle with score a 9% average screen share and capture the attention of 695,000 viewers throughout the eight installments that were broadcast between July 1 and August 26, 2023.

Tonight, starting at 10:00 p.m., Tárrega returns to the controls of a program that arrives with reinforcements for its second season. Thus, Antonio Santanar joins as co-presenter to offer reports, data and reports on the central issue addressed in each installment. Inheritances, betrayals, scams and family disagreements are some of the themes that will be articulated in the new editions of ‘Life without filters’.

They will talk about them collaborators such as Alessandro Lequio, who repeats this season, along with other popular faces on the national scene such as Boris Izaguirre, Mónica Hoyos, Ignacio de Borbón, Cristina Boscá, Marina Ruiz and Iván González, as well as psychologists and lawyers, among other experts.

In addition, the program incorporates a new section calledto ‘The secret of my life’, where different people will share their greatest confidences. In the first program, titled ‘Family Troubles’, this section will feature Isabel, a woman who will tell her biggest secret from anonymity. Once her story is concluded, she will be the one who decides whether or not to reveal her identity.

“People say that We all keep at least 13 secrets, five of which we never reveal in our lives.. In this section, the protagonists tell us secrets that we do not believe, in addition to secrets that do not accompany the image given by the person telling it. Sometimes we have an impression of a person based on their image and we are very wrong, so you cannot judge anyone at first glance,” explains Tárrega, who claims to feel “content and happy” to return to this space with a season in which “the entire team is more involved and there are very shocking testimonies that will leave the viewer speechless.”

“The testimonies are a suit tailored to me, because I am an empathetic person who knows how to listen, for the good and the bad. I soak up all that, I take it with me and the viewer notices it,” he concludes.
