The woman had suffered burns on 90% of her body and despite the efforts of the doctors at the healthcare center, she died.
The tragedy initially left 15 injured people who were transferred to the San Jorge Hospital and other healthcare centers in Pereira, but during the week five adults and a nine-year-old child, who was the daughter of Luz Adriana Barbosa, died. recently deceased.

The other people who lost their lives in the incident were Santiago Emilio Silva, 54 years old; María Ercila Tascón, 82 years old; Adriana del Socorro Hoyos Barrera, 61 years old; Omar Antonio Tascón Acevedo, 45 years old; John Didier Londono, 57 years old; and the youngest is nine years old.
Four more patients who had initially been transferred to the San Jorge Hospital were referred to burn units in Cali, Ibagué and Bogotá.
