In a triumph for Spanish oil, Dour Oliva, made in the heart of Los Arribes del Duero, has obtained the Silver Medal in the prestigious OLIVE JAPAN International Extra Olive Oil Competition 2024, held in Tokyo.

Organized by The Olive Oil Sommelier Association of Japan (OSAJ), this competition stands out for its rigor and international reputation in the promotion of extra virgin olive oil. Dour Oliva competed with the best products in the sector, demonstrating its excellence in quality and flavor.

Dour Oliva oil is distinguished by being a true juice from manzanilla olives, carefully harvested in a protected natural environment, the Los Arribes del Duero Biosphere Reserve. This extra virgin is obtained through mechanical cold extraction methods, thus preserving all its natural components: essential fatty acids, vitamin E and antioxidants.

The manzanilla variety ensures a low level of acidity and a high oleic acid content, characteristics that place it among the most outstanding on the market due to its quality and limited production.

Dour Oliva, pride of Castilla y León, has conquered the palates of Japanese judges and international experts, establishing itself as a benchmark of excellence in the world of extra virgin olive oil.
