China announced sanctions for several companies in the Lockheed Martin group and its managers for selling weapons to Taiwansomething that the government considered “seriously interferes in China’s internal affairs and seriously damages its sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
Just a day ago, China had already condemned the approval by the United States Department for the sale of a combat drone and loitering missile system to Taiwanquoted at a value of 360.2 million dollars (335 million euros), ensuring that the issue is “the red line” between Washington and Beijing.

Among the sanctioned companies, whose assets in China will be frozen, are several subsidiaries of the group Lockheed Martin as well as executives James Telit, Frank St. Johnand Jesse Malefe.
Besides, They will be prohibited from carrying out operations in the country and will be denied entry into Chinese territoryincluding Hong Kong and Macau, the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated today in a brief statement.
