At least five people were injured after a multiple crash on Abancay Avenue and Nicolás de Piero, in Cercado de Lima. The traffic accident that occurred this morning left a pet that was inside one of the accident vehicles petrified.
The Rescue Squad of the National Police, the personnel of the Mobile Emergency Care System (SAMU) arrived at the scene. and the Serenazgo of Lima, who have been evacuating the people who were injured.

Some of the injured were rushed to the International clinic due to multiple trauma, cuts and injuries in the commune, while others are still lying on the floor.
“So far we have an average of five people who have been evacuated to the International clinic,” declared the police authority.
According to witnesses, the accident occurred at 10:40 am when a motorcycle unexpectedly crossed paths with a car that was traveling near the El Hueco Shopping Center on Abancay Avenue, causing the latter to lose control of his unit. and collide with another car.
Following this incident, the Police have restricted traffic on this busy north-south road and are recommending that drivers take alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion. Likewise, the causes of the accident and the corresponding responsibilities are being investigated.
