On a date known as “the most Argentine day of the year” (due to Duki’s birthday among other anniversaries), the two artists, who forged a bond of brotherhood since their first steps on the scene, present a highly anticipated feat. Whose video clip reviews the most notable moments in its history.
The renowned Argentine trap artists, MKS and Duki, join forces to release their long-awaited single “TU SILENCIO”. This new release marks a milestone in the path shared by both, through the different moments of their career since their beginnings in El Quinto Escalón. «TU SILENCIO», edited by CIRI RECORDS/DALE PLAY RECORDS, has vocals and lyrics by MKS and Duki, and production by @ivo.wosco together with iceeyes030.
“TU SILENCIO” comes at the right time for MKS, who is in a very active and focused stage of his musical career. «I am very motivated with the moment I am going through. Recovering things that fulfilled me and made me happy made me invest time, space and desire in my musical career,” shares the artist from La Paternal, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
The friendship between MKS and Duki has gone through various phases, always marked by loyalty and genuine love. This view is reflected in the music video for “TU SILENCIO”, an emotional retrospective of the path that both artists took together, with unforgettable moments and a personal and professional present that reaffirms their values and mutual affection. “It is a way of showing how we forge ourselves and how values, love and affection remain valid, despite the passage of time or changes,” says MKS.
The collaboration between MKS and Duki came to fruition thanks to Duki’s initiative. «The proposal came from him, he invited me to the studio and he must have seen the scared face I made: beyond friendship and trust, I am aware that, when it comes to entering the studio, it is with Duki, the artist of international stature, and not only with Mauro, my friend,” says MKS, who also highlighted the comfort and connection during the recording process.
The chemistry that made them unbeatable in the beginning is still present in the studio. «We complemented each other a lot, he musically and I in limiting, damaging the rival. Recording is definitely different from freestyling on a cypher, but the magic of creating as a duo is still intact,” explains MKS.
The single also reflects the power of collaboration and collective in music. MKS believes in supporting other artists beyond commercial goals. «I enjoy making music and I believe that if the artist is good, time will prove him right. The Argentine scene is very good, very solid and there are opportunities for everyone,” says MKS.
