New stories are about to come prime time from Univision. One of them is the ViX period miniseries The golden roosterwhich the Spanish-speaking network will premiere on Wednesday, May 8 at 9 pm ET, with bright Star and José Ron as protagonists. But she is not the only one.
The Mexican soap opera will also arrive soon to Univision’s stellar programming Stroke of luckthe last melodrama of the late producer Nicandro Diaz.
Last night the network began promoting the imminent premiere of this telenovela with comedy overtones that features the leading performances of Mayrin Villanueva and Eduardo Yanez.
“From creators of My fortune is to love you and My way is to love you Another great production comes to Univision. A stroke of luck will change the lives of three families,” the network announces.
“Stroke of luck It is a story that tries to promote, although it may sound contradictory, values. It has many values, but at the same time there is luck and when we believe that luck reaches our souls, problems often begin,” said its producer in June of last year at the presentation event of the leading cast of the soap opera.

What’s the story about?
Stroke of luck tells the story of three families who win a million-dollar prize. The first is made up of Brenda (Daniela Martinez) and Tony (Diego Escalona), his younger brother. They want to stop living under the yoke of Constance (Maya Mishalska), his cruel stepmother. But the brothers cannot collect the prize because they are minors.
The second family is made up of Miranda (Eva Cedeno), a single mother, and Diego (Constantine Garcia), a nice boy who, worried about the economic situation they are going through, asks his mother to buy him a raffle ticket to buy a house and stop living in close quarters.
