As RTVE has revealed, the Spanish candidacy will have up to “77 carefully selected shots to enhance the energy” of “Zorra” during its three minutes duration. Furthermore, the staging focuses on giving “that sensation from less to more, to gain dynamism and to make that party feeling noticeable that we want to offer”, in the words of the directors, with long close-ups that give way to shorter shots with a sharper perspective.

“Slut”, in a big way

As was already revealed after the first test, the word “Zorra” will be projected during the three minutes of the song in the five giant cubes that hang above the stage. One of them, in fact, starts the staging at ground level, with Mery’s silhouette in the red lock, simulating the entrance to a clandestine cabaret. As the song progresses, the staging will gain more light, giving way to the golden image of a large city in the background, as a symbol of “liberation from social bonds”.
