Channel 13 announced to day what Maximiliano Luksic leaves his position as executive director of the station, after presenting his resignation from the board of directors. This decision is part of his interest in undertaking new professional challenges outside the private sphere.
Maximiliano joined Canal 13 in 2016, working in various areas such as Digital Media Management, Marketing, Commercial Management and Deputy Executive Management. His career at the station culminated with his appointment as executive director in 2019.

During the five years that he was in charge of Canal 13, Maximiliano led numerous achievements with his team that contributed to positioning the station in a competitive position. Likewise, he was responsible for a sustainability plan that reversed accumulated losses and stabilized the economic situation of Channel 13.
Under his leadership, a strategy was implemented aimed at increasing income, through a massive and transversal programming grid with content of interest to the audience. This strategy made it possible to attract new audiences and improve Canal 13’s position in prime time after a decade. Besides, a morning program was relaunched and is currently competing for first place in your time slot.
Maximiliano Luksic’s farewell message
In a farewell video addressed to the collaborators of Channel 13, Maximiliano expressed: “I am convinced that we must allow the fresh air of new ideas to recharge the energies of companies to go in search of ever higher objectives.”
“It has been a very challenging path, of infinite learning, and today, with deep pride, I can say that I have no doubt that the team that we have built together will continue along this path and will take Channel 13 to the next level”he added.
Soon, The Board of Directors of Canal 13 will announce who will assume responsibility for the Executive Directorate to give continuity to the strategic plan and the growth process defined by Maximiliano Luksic.
