Behind the Modern Family finale in 2020the actors are so fond of each other that we have seen them together many times, although getting the cast together only takes an occasion. However, rumors of a new meeting between their actors have been running for some time among the followers of this series. Now, at last, it has been known what it was that project that they had in their hands and that has allowed the return of part of the cast, yes, briefly.
It’s about a WhatsApp company announcement with which they advertise their well-known chat and the possibility of forming groups, and with which they have managed to bring together Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. The story told in this advertising spot begins when Haley sends a photo of her twins through the family group chat. “Let me see it!” Mitchell asks. But Phil tells him that he can see it himself in the chat.
Here the “problems” begin, when this character realizes that is not included in that family group. “You guys did a family group chat without me? What a shame!” she screams. Then his sister explains that they haven’t included him because of his “blurry photos” and his “weird likes.” But a person dressed as a painter appears and recommends using WhatsApp to avoid those blurry photos and include everyone.
Finally, the family seems to opt for this messaging application and in a final scene in which Mitchell and Cameron are lying in bed, this last character tells him: “We can kick you out of here (he says pointing to the cell phone), but never from here (he comments putting his hand on his heart).” Without a doubt, a very peculiar way to reunite some of the protagonists of this endearing American comedy.
