Kevin Costner has confirmed that he will not return to the successful series Yellowstoneof which he has been the protagonist and whose final season, the fifth, will be broadcast in 2024. “Mulling over Yellowstonethat beloved series that I adore and that I know you also love, I realize that I will not be able to continue with the fifth season or in the future,” he expressed in a video on instagram. He also mentioned that he has spent the last year and a half working on his new project, horizonand you want to focus on it.
Costner described Yellowstone as a series that transformed him and with which he established a special relationship. “I love the relationship we have been able to develop, and we will see each other in the movies,” said the Oscar-winning filmmaker, referring to his next work: a series of Western films titled Horizon: An American Sagawhose first chapter has already been released.
