Strong fight between Milei and Posse over the management of the government

Javier Milei and Nicolás Posse are going through the worst moment in their relationship since the beginning of the libertarian era due to differences in the management of the government.

The chief of staff had already had clashes with ministers but had managed to maintain the image of one of the officials closest to the president.

Among libertarians there is a theory that Milei does not get involved in management and delegates everything to Posse and his sister Karina. But Milei began to have friction with Posse over the management of the government and other issues that aroused his attention. The general secretary of the presidency also has friction with Posse.

In the last few days Milei and Posse had a confrontation that they had never had before. “The meeting was terrible,” sources familiar with the episode told LPO.

One of the signs of the management problems is that Posse’s cabinet loses officials every week. In the last few hours, hierarchical positions left in Anses and in the Ministry of Labor, which became the meat grinder of the government and managed to surpass the communication area, which has accumulated sloppiness since Milei’s zero hour.

An example of these mismanagement is that Eduardo Serenellini was demoted in the last few hours but now they are analyzing raising his rank again to justify his presence in cabinet meetings, such as the one in which the Israeli ambassador was present.

The disputes in the Executive have already had repercussions in Congress, where they already found out about the racy meeting between the president and the chief of staff. While he took charge of the negotiations for the omnibus law, Posse tries to delay his management report in the Senate and it even emerged that he asked that the regulations be changed.

“Posse cannot come from a cot to change the Constitution,” say those close to Victoria Villarruel. The connection with the Executive has always been difficult for the libertarians, which was more damaged than ever last week, when it became impossible for them to conceal the fractures that led to a Guinness record as the fall of the head of the block in four months of government.
