This Sunday, June 23, armed terrorists committed attacks in the cities of Derbent and Makhachkala, in the Russian region of Dagestan, causing several victims, including 15 police officers and four civilians, the latter of which was a priest.

Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CC PCC) and President of the Republic, today regretted the loss of human life and material damage caused by the terrorist attacks in the cities of Derbent and Makhachkalá, in the Russian Republic of Dagestan.

From his X account, the president sent, on behalf of Cuba, solidarity for the consequences of such vile acts.

“We regret the loss of life and material damage caused by the terrorist attacks in the cities of Derbent and Makhachkala, in the Russian Republic of Dagestan. “Let our solidarity reach all of us for the consequences of such vile acts.”

On the same social network, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, member of the Political Bureau and head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sent heartfelt condolences to the people and Government of the Federal Republic of Russia, which he extended to the families and friends of the victims.

From his account in X, the Cuban Foreign Minister extended his condolences to the families and friends of the victims.

“Our deepest condolences to the people and government of #Russia, as well as to the families and friends of the victims of the terrorist attacks in the Republic of Dagestan”

The extremists set fire to two Orthodox churches, a synagogue and a Traffic Police post, causing several victims, including 15 police officers and four civilians, the latter of which was a priest.
