The Valle del Cauca Printing Company uses sugar cane bagasse and recycled material as raw materials to produce books, notebooks and agendas. This makes the department the first in the country to have an environmentally friendly printing press.

“Through our line of printed products from the Departmental Printing House of Valle del Cauca we have transformed ourselves, we have the first COP16 prototype notebook made with paper-friendly inks from sugarcane bagasse and with recycled product ringing,” he said. He also highlighted that all the contracts they sign use sugarcane bagasse and recycled paper.
Among the main products manufactured from recycling and bagasse, there are commemorative agendas from other public institutions and they invited other companies to join the eco-friendly campaign, promoting the circular economy and the zero carbon model. “What we do in our daily routine as necessary impressions, the idea is to carry them out with environmentally friendly products.”
Finally, they pointed out that the COP16 notebook will be a commitment to ratify the work that the Valle Government does in favor of the environment. In addition, they highlighted that thanks to this work, they manage to recycle up to two bottles for each agenda.
