Toledo, May 23 (EFE).- Almost 200 deans from 55 Spanish universities debate the preparation of the new white papers for the degrees of Early Childhood, Primary, Social Education and Pedagogy, within the framework of the Monograph of the Conference of Deans of Education (CoDE) held in Toledo.

The University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) hosts this meeting, which is held under the motto ‘To better conquer the future: let’s build today’s education together!’.

According to a statement from the university, the dean of the Toledo Faculty of Education, Felipe Gertrúdix, highlighted the “great reception” and the “heterogeneity of the working groups”, as well as the “broad consensus” and the multiple perspectives that They will allow “moving towards a much more globalized and interesting vision to achieve the objectives of the white papers with guarantees that all sensitivities and criteria are addressed.”

For his part, the president of the CoDE and dean of the Faculty of Education and Social Work of Valladolid, Mariano Rubia Avi, has pointed out the need to update the white papers, which date back two decades, and has underlined the “good harmony ” that exists with the ministries of Education and Science, Innovation and Universities.EFE
