David Beckham (49 years old) and his wife Victory (50) are more than fed up with the persistent rumors of crisis that have surrounded their marriage for years. “It’s annoying and frustrating,” the designer confessed in early 2019 during an interview. Every certain … months, the couple has to endure the tabloid press publishing information that seeks to damage their relationship. Given this, the businesswoman and the former soccer player vehemently deny – whether in interviews, social networks or through a press release – the speculation of a crisis in their marriage.
There was even one occasion when the rumors were so strong that the big question was asked by the famous Paddy Power betting house, which made easy money by entering the game on the famous couple and the children they share: Brooklyn25 years old, Romeo21, Cross19, and the little one Harper Seven Beckhamof 12.
This Thursday ‘The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power’, a book published by the journalist, was released Tom Bower in which he uncovers the ‘farce’ of the Beckham marriage. As the author assures, for eight years the former soccer player and the businesswoman have lived separately and with hardly any communication between them and are united in front of the gallery exclusively by economic interests: «Although they cannot hide their separate lives, they were united to support to the brand,” explains Bower in an interview given to the British newspaper ‘The Mirror’, as part of the promotional tour for his book. “They were only dedicated to maintaining a long-distance business relationship,” he adds, referring, in particular, to the Netflix documentary series in which some unpublished details of the athlete are revealed in reference to his personal and professional life.
This is not the first time the couple has faced this type of speculation. The last one occurred during London Fashion Week, in which the former Spice Girl organized a dinner to promote her brand’s new store located on Dover Street. As Tom Bower states, Victoria Beckham was outraged “because David sat the entire time without exchanging glances with her,” which fueled rumors of a bad relationship between the two. A tension that increased after some of the attendees claimed that they had witnessed “a racy fight.”

According to the expert on issues about the British Royal House, “David’s status and survival would have faded if it had not been for Victoria’s efforts to maintain the illusion of a happy family” with her four children.
A book that will cloud their 25th wedding anniversary, which they will celebrate next July 4 and which, as confirmed by the author himself, is supported by direct sources to the Beckham couple that have not been able to be revealed due to the numerous obstacles with which they have been found during his research work. And it seems that David and Victoria prohibited a large number of people within their inner circle from speaking to the journalist.
