Gaby Moreno and Mirciny Moliviatis present their new book

In May 2024, Forbes magazine released the list of the “100 Powerful Women of Central America”, highlighting several Guatemalan women among them for the social work they have done. Among them, it stood out Gaby Moreno and Mirciny Moliviatis.

Now, the Guatemalans have joined their talents to publicize their book “Music and Cooking“.

The winner of the 2024 Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album in the 66th edition and the chef recognized as an ambassador of Guatemalan gastronomy announced about this fusion of talents and later they will share with their followers where they can purchase this book.

María Isabel, presenter of the Nueva Fabuestéreo of the Emisoras Unidas Group, shared that they will soon provide more details about this new work.

New project in Guatemala

In addition to the good news about the book, Gaby Moreno also commented that they will present a musical that she has been developing in Guatemala.

“For the first time in Guatemala we will do a dramatized reading this Saturday, June 29 at 7pm at the Hugo Carrillo Chamber Theater,” the famous woman commented on her social networks. Tickets are on sale at www.eticket.gt.

The story tells the life of two women: Luisa and Gabriela. A narrative that is based on the book by Evynne Hollens and Rebecca Tourino Collinsworth. Luisa leaves the United States to live in Guatemala where she finds out that she is pregnant, while Gabriela is a woman who lives in Oregon and who has the desire to start a new life.

For the first time in Guatemala this musical comes, a staging that contains music and lyrics by Gaby Moreno and Anna Gilbert.
