The Mazda Arata prototype is another of the novelties that the Japanese brand unveiled at Auto China 2024 in Beijing, marking the next evolution of the Kodo design.

The Arata emerges as a very successful evolution of the design language kodo, which was born in 2010 and already requires moving to a new stage. Going into details about its appearance, the Mazda Arata has a closed grille (a clear indicator of an electric car) and a large air intake on the bumper, as well as decorations that bear the brand name in capital letters.
