Soon! ETECSA announces changes in these Cuban municipalities

This weekend, we woke up with the good news that the only Telecommunications company in Cuba, ETECSA, announced technological changes in some Cuban municipalities, in search of improvements and reactivation of services.

This is an investment initiative that could be extended to other municipalities in the country, and not only in the Cuban capital, Havana, as they are doing until now. The technological changes announced are based on improvements to telephone cabinets in areas of the capital that have been affected for some time, in terms of landlines and other services.

According to the capital’s media Tribuna de La Habana, ETECSA announced the upcoming implementation, “shortly,” of technological improvements in the towns of Luyanó and Víbora Park.

These changes will solve service problems that have affected residents of these areas for “a long time,” and in turn, optimize the performance, efficiency and management of their services, according to the note.

“It is important to highlight that the clients involved in these actions have been previously contacted by our company,” they added.

What are the changes announced by ETECSA shortly?

The changes and improvements announced by ETECSA shortly, in two municipalities of the capital, are, according to them.

Luyanó (Diez de Octubre Municipality). The telephone cabinet located on Calzada de Luyanó corner Juan Alonso will be activated. Customers will have a new number that begins with the digits: 7603 5XXX, 7603 61XX to 7603 63XX.

Víbora Park (Arroyo Naranjo Municipality). The office located on Kessell Street between Calzada de 10 de Octubre and 1st will be put into operation. The new numbering corresponding to this change will begin with the following digits: 7673 4XXX, 7673 51 XX to 7673 53XX.

ETECSA warned that with these changes, the service ID will be modified, the number that identifies it and allows you to make automatic payments through ATMs or platforms such as Transfermóvil and Servicios en Línea. To find out your new ID, you must contact the Commercial Management service.

In addition, it will be necessary to reactivate the supplementary services that you have contracted.
