The global mining services provider Thiess has secured a four-year contract extension with BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) for operations in Caval Ridge in Queensland, Australia. With income of 580 million dollarsthe contract allows Thiess to continue providing mining services at the Caval Ridge mine, operating and maintaining mining equipment to move waste and support the BMA production requirements. The extension continues Thiess’ relationship with BMA at Caval Ridge, which began in December 2017.

The Executive President and CEO of the Thiess Group, Michael Wrightsaid: “We are very pleased that our continued commitment to safe and sustainable mining has resulted in BMA grant us a four-year extension at Caval Ridge.
