During the last few days, Benjamín Vicuña found out that his son Baptist has put his health in serious danger. That is why he, as a father, is very worried.
It all started in a streaming program, where the actor asked his son about the sport he practices: “And now this beautiful boy… what sport are you playing apart from soccer?”
To which the young man responded: “I do MMA and boxing. They are mixed martial arts, but hey, I find it a very nice sport, you learn a lot, yes, it is great.”
Benjamín took the floor again and expressed: “It’s a fight, but anything goes, from an elbow to the face to a kick, even on the floor, if they grab you and want to almost break your arm. Anything goes. “We have discussed this.”
“It’s a sport that he likes, he is preparing first with boxing and then with martial arts, and eventually having all of that tomorrow to be able to practice that sport that doesn’t suit me,” he admitted.
“I haven’t seen you fight in the street or with your companions because, put yourself in my place, it’s something that worries me and I don’t like it. If I don’t convince you, some girlfriend can convince you to leave that shitty sport,” said Vicuña.
And he added: “I am never going to prohibit anything. Obviously, if there are things that hurt him or could hurt another… in this case it is a controversial sport and it is very difficult for me to understand what it is about. It’s crazy, because sometimes “Sometimes I put it on and out of curiosity I keep watching.”
“This is our issue, I don’t want him to do it, but he is in a process where he is assimilating things, preparing himself, and I hope that a chip falls on him from somewhere and that he doesn’t practice it, because it is going to be something very painful for your family”, he closed.
