In a week marked by the political, economic and social maelstrom that the country is experiencing, Mirtha Legrand and Juana Viale announced the guests for this Saturday and Sunday. In them, the presence of the Cipoleño Facundo Pereyra.

He is a doctor specialized in gastroenterology, digestive endoscopy and internal medicine. He achieved multiple recognitions for his work in the field of intestinal health and his contribution to alternative medicine.

He was born in Río Negro in 1970. Throughout his career he gained experience in hospitals in several countries, including Peru, Spain, the United States and Australia. His most notable contribution is the MDB15 program, which he created. This plan seeks to merge traditional medicine with alternative approaches to improve patients’ intestinal health.

Pereyra wrote two books “Reset your intestines” and “Life after the reset”. The first of them became a bestseller and leads the ranking of the most read books in 2022 throughout the country.

The research led him to understand the importance of the intestine in the overall health of the body and the importance of the treatment of chronic diseases such as migraines, depression, arthritis, autoimmune diseases and allergies, through conscious changes.

The doctor relates in his book that, by combining traditional medicine with alternative medicine, you can “to reset” the intestine alone 15 days.

The professional maintains that diseases are not only treated with medications and procedures, but rather they must be approached from multiple perspectives. That is why he practices medicine from a holistic and integrative approach.

«In the intestine there are a number of neurons similar to that of the brain, which causes us to generate mood and emotional symptoms such as depression or anxiety. When the intestine is inflamed, our brain also becomes inflamed and our immune system is depressed,” says Pereyra.

Pereyra proposes a self-test to identify the presence of “intestinal permeability syndrome” which is characterized by abnormal functioning of the intestine, allowing toxins derived from bacteria and poorly digested foods, which should normally be retained in the digestive system, to enter the bloodstream.

From 1:45 p.m., on the El Trece screen, Mirtha Legrand’s granddaughter will receive figures from entertainment, social networks, theater and medicine.
