This was the beginning of Miranda’s show! before 15,000 people

The clock strikes 9 p.m. and a crowd is still moving outside the Movistar Arena. At a slow pace, thousands of fans hum the anthems of Miranda! waiting to experience a new show from the pop duo. While some sport a yellow feather boa on their necks, others wear white and red striped shirts and visors, all in reference to the band’s different costumes.

Inside, everything is ready to live a real party. With more than 40 mirrored spheres hanging from the ceiling, the band is about to turn the Movistar Arena into a giant nightclub for more than 15,000 people. And although in the beginning they dreamed that their songs would be played in those venues, reality showed them that they have no limits, just like their creativity.

Goyo, singer of Bandalos Chinos, was the only guest of the night

While people were waiting for the singers on stage, Ale Sergi and Juliana Gattas They innovated and surprised everyone by entering the scene on top of their white swan. Unlike their last shows, where they closed with this symbol of Hotel Miranda!, the duo began to say goodbye to their most successful album by singing “I already knew it.” The band is at a pivotal moment and tonight meant its reinvention.

After surfing through the tide of people, the winners of the Golden Gardel They arrived on stage with dark glasses and an elegant look: white shirts, ties and black jackets with glitter and red details. As “Nobody Like You” began to play, the first row of fans crowded against the wall. Some held their signs, closed their eyes to connect with the music and others struggled to raise their cell phones in the air to record the moment. Among the people, the minors also stood out, standing on their parents’ shoulders and celebrating the group’s songs. Thus the night continued with “What I feel for you”, “Luna de papel” and “Uno los dos”.

After a brief wardrobe change, which included a new black jacket with silver hearts, Ale and Juli welcomed the only guest of the night: Goyo. Faithful to his relaxed style, the leader of Chinese Bandalos He appeared with glasses and dressed completely in red. Thus he began to sing “Christmas”, with a smile from ear to ear that reflected the chemistry on stage and the happiness of being part of this first date.

Ale and Juli stood in front of 15,000 souls for the most intimate moment of the night: two songs in acoustic format (Photos by Luana Gonzalez Kaiber and Gustavo Correa. Irish Suárez, Courtesy Miranda!)

Between a mix of hits, and some versions of Hotel Miranda! —”Your mysterious someone” and “Perfecta”— the band gave way to a new segment in the show. With no dancers on stage, not even the rest of the band members, Ale and Juli stood in front of the 15,000 souls for the most intimate moment of the night. While the singer held only a guitar, he and the artist performed “Lejos de vos” and “Hasta hoy” in acoustic format. Then, the lights went out and both left the scene, while the dancers choreographed “The teacher“, The song that the duo decided not to sing anymore because his lyrics were not understood in this social context.

In a new change of scene, the disco balls arrived on stage and, illuminated by lights of different colors, gave rise to a giant disco.

Thank you very much for joining us tonight, we are starting a series of four concerts, we couldn’t start it in a better way than with the presence of all of you.. Thank you very much from the heart. We are going to sing the last song and those who come always already know what it is,” said Alejandro Sergi to say goodbye to the first of the four nights. Between a burst of papers, and the chords of “Romix”, the band said goodbye to the people. But the surprises did not end because, while part of the audience was leaving the place, a video began to play on the screen. A series of four monsters cut a ribbon and celebrated in a room. The camera zoomed out and read “New Miranda Hotel!”, while people shouted, eager to know the band’s next album.
