Rodrigo Lussich surprised viewers Matter of weight by taking charge of the program together with the medical team and the participants. In this way, yesterday viewers saw it twice: first in Show Partners together with Adrián Pallares and then at the head of the cycle led by Mario Massaccesi. In it he explained on air the reason for the journalist’s absence.
“Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to Matter of weight, the healthiest program on Argentine television. The program that changes your quality of life. I’m not Mario Massaccesi, obviously, the owner of the house. I’m the same“, joked Lussich just before explaining the reason for the absence of the usual driver.
“Mario, to whom we send a big kiss, because he is recovering from dysphonia. Best friend of all life, he asked me if I could cover him today. And here I am to do the program with you. And you, of course, are the protagonists, so welcome,” Lussich added, sympathetically, before the cameras.
“We started a program on a day of great tension. It has been a tense morning at the clinic. First because breakfast took a long time.. It started an hour and a half late because someone was very late for breakfast. And until it arrives, it doesn’t start. There was anger,” Lussich revealed.
And he added: “But also, Today is alert weigh-in day. 24 hours after a new elimination. A week with triple elimination. You know, on holiday Friday we did not have elimination. And yesterday Ernesto was and is on the tightrope,” he noted and successfully maintained the viewers’ expectations throughout the program.
Last month, the return of this classic was well received by the audience. With excellent numbers (the cycles that were before had half the rating) it is clear that the public did not hesitate when it came to reconnecting with the proposal. The incorporation of the historical journalist from the channel’s newscasts was able to give a friendlier and warmer tone to the program. It was a leap towards uncertainty, the new and it was time to do it,” said the journalist in an interview with LA NACIÓN.
“I asked the Dr. Alberto Cormillot to correct me on air if I said something inappropriate, because I am not an expert on the subject and I want to ask like anyone who goes to a doctor. That gives me the freedom to screw up and not intentionally, but because I’m not the one who knows about the subject. And another condition is to be able to delve into what is behind each person’s overweight. Maybe it was not seen in the previous seasons and now I find it interesting to know what happens with emotionswith the mandates, because in general behind each person with obesity there is a story that triggers that disease,” Massaccesi highlighted in dialogue with this newspaper.
