For the fourth date of the Apertura women’s soccer tournament, Belgrano beat Gimnasia de La Plata 2-0 this Thursday with a goal from Alaides Paz 19 minutes into the second half and another from Mayra Acevedo two minutes from the end.
The match was held at the Gigante de Alberdi before a good turnout and Maximiliano Luján’s team formed with: Sofía Olivera; Magalí Pereyra, Anahí Arias, Milagros Cisneros and Milagros Vargas; Betina Soriano, Pilar Casas, Ariana Reche and Alaides Paz; Sabrina Maldonado and Mayra Acevedo.
With the victory, the Celeste team reached nine points and equaled Boca’s line at the top of the table, although Xeneize has not yet played the match with Platense on this date, which takes place this Friday from 3:00 p.m.
The next match for the Pirates will be next weekend and they will be visiting Independiente de Avellaneda.
