The Entre Ríos Symphony Orchestra (OSER), an organization dependent on the Ministry of Culture of the province, will perform a new concert with the artistic direction of Mtro. Luis Gorelik and the participation of the guest director Annunziata Tomaro.
The meeting will take place at the Provincial Convention Center (CPC)located at Gral. José de San Martín 15, Paraná.
The Symphony No. 1 by Jan Sibelius will be performed and, in addition, the Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra by Aaron Copland in which the Master will perform as soloist. Mariano Laurino. Admission will be free, in order of arrival.
About Annunziata Tomaro, guest director
Born in the United States, she began her musical studies at The Juilliard School in New York, and has trained with some of the most renowned conducting educators in the US and Europe, completing her doctorate in Orchestral Conducting at the University of Cincinnati, College- Conservatory of Music. She has an important artistic career. Parallel to her international activities as a guest conductor, in Argentina her performances stand out at the Teatro Avenida (Buenos Aires Lírica), Teatro Colón (The Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra, The Orquesta Estable, and The Academic Orchestra of the ISA), Teatro San Martín (Contemporary Music Series), La Usina del Arte, Kirchner Cultural Center, Cervantes National Theater, Roma Theater, Plaza de San Martín Cultural Complex, with DIT Concerts of the Technological District, Metropolitan Museum, Argentine Theater of La Plata, La Nave (Orchestra Symphony of the National University of Cuyo), and in the Municipal Theater of Bahía Blanca.
Since 2017, Annunziata Tomaro has worked as Professor of Contemporary Music Ensemble Conducting at the “Manuel de Falla” Higher Conservatory of Music.
