The Cultural Center of the Banco de la República in Santa Marta begins its usual Concert season in 2024 with an international presentation: German accordionist Eva Zöllner.

Fascinated by the contemporary sounds and acoustic possibilities of the accordion, Eva Zöllner has dedicated herself to exploring the music of composers of the 20th and 21st centuries.

With more than three hundred works, the German accordionist has traveled to all continents and has a special bond with Central and South America, which led her to release, in 2023, her album Voces, signals, which includes compositions by Colombians Carolina Noguera , Daniel Leguizamón and Natalia Valencia.

On this occasion, he will present some of the works from this record production, together with Erik Satie, Nadia Boulanger, Hugo Distrel and Sofia Gubaidulina.

Now, Samarians and Magdalenians will have the opportunity to enjoy their repertoire next Friday, April 26, at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room of the Gabriel García Márquez Library.

Those interested can purchase the ticket, at a cost of $3,700, on the third floor of the Gabriel García Márquez Library, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the afternoon, and on Saturdays, from 9:00 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon.
